Welcome to Switzerland" by arriving at Zurich airport. Proceed to Lucerne my using your Switzerland travel pass. Then take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland's most charming lakeside town of Lucerne.

Day 2: Luxurious Lucerne
Begin your day with a walking tour of Lucerne, learning how a backwater fishing village grew to become a bustling center of trade in medieval times, and one of Europe's must-see destinations on the "Grand Tour" a century ago. Our guided walk will take you through the city's restored medieval core and over its famously colorful pedestrian bridges all the way to its sprawling Switzerland Transport Museum. This afternoon you'll be free to visit Mt.Rigi or Mt. Pilatus or Lion's Monument.

Day 3: Enchanting Engelberg
This morning after breakfast move into the countryside to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg. Settle into your hotel/apartment and then head out for an orientation walk. Stroll through the village till the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation.

Day 4: Peaks of Engelberg
Nestled between two mountain peaks, Engelberg is the perfect place for an Alpine adventure. Begin your day riding Engelberg's unique, rotating gondola all the way up to the snowy 10,000-ft. summit of Mt.Titlis for breathtaking, panoramic views. This afternoon you'll have plenty of time to explore the place on your own.

Day 5: Italian Switzerland- Lugano
Today move your way out to mountains and meadows for palm trees and a taste of Ticino on the Italian side of Switzerland. This afternoon's destination is the dolce vita lakeside city of Lugano.

Day 6: Free Day on Lake Lugano
It's time to take a vacation from your vacation, on the sunny side of the Alps! The day is yours to stroll along Lugano's shops and harbor, ride the funicular up to the top of 3,000-ft. San Salavatore for great lake views, or hop aboard a ferry and cruise to nearby Switzerland and Italian villages.

Day 7: Matterhorn
After breakfast, this morning move to the heart of Switzerland's Berner Oberland. Visit the quaint mountain village of Zermatt, framed by Switzerland's iconic Matterhorn. Explore the village and enjoy the views of one of the most photographed mountains on the planet — if the weather cooperates. End your afternoon with a thrilling gondola ride from the Lauterbrunnen Valley floor up to the cliff-top village of Mürren.

Day 8: Hiking in the Berner Oberland
the day is freefor some of Switzerland's best hiking. Join your guide for an optional mountain walk — or ride the gondola up to the 10,000-ft. Schilthorn for breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks, and find your way back to Mürren.

Day 10: Lake Geneva and Château de Chillon
Begin your day with Lausanne’s waterfront and the charming neighborhood of Ouchy and its Olympic Park. Board your ship for a cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore dock at Château de Chillon, for a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On your way back you can peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne.

Day 11: Tour Over After Breakfast
Post breakfast, check out and move to Zurich to catch a return flight.
